However, VDI deployments can be notoriously complex, with many moving parts and multiple points of failure. When things go wrong, it can be like looking for a needle in a haystack to find a root cause, let alone determine the best resolution plan and fix the issue. The result? Unproductive and frustrated end-users suffering a poor digital workplace experience. 

What’s the solution? Introducing Virtual Desktop Experience (VDX). Built for VDI Administrators and Digital Workplace Teams that manage VDI availability, reliability, and issue resolution. VDX is a capability of the 1E Platform that provides end-to-end visibility of the VDI estate and facilitates proactive issue identification and remediation, to provide best-in-class digital employee experience (DEX). 

Regarding end-to-end visibility, VDX combines data from the VDI environment—along with other data sources such as the 1E Client—to generate a near real-time topology view of VDI deployments. The key metrics and insights this provides help troubleshoot and identify root causes of VDI issues.

But of course, here at 1E, we aren’t just about observing problems. VDX contains out-the-box automation to automatically remediate numerous common VDI problems, such as automatically restarting stopped services, and raises alerts if these problems persist.

Additionally, VDX has been built from the ground up to integrate seamlessly with the rest of the 1E Platform. This ensures seamless technician workflows from VDX to other capabilities, such as 1E Endpoint Troubleshooting. This is particularly useful for important tasks such as gathering additional diagnostic data in real-time or deploying remediations to thousands of devices within seconds.
